All the kits in Monster Drum VST are already mixed by the kit donator so users of this Monster Drum can use them right away without needing to mix. But there is a Multi-Out feature that enables users to mix the individual sound of every kit.

Monster Drum Features (v3-2022.07)
- Dozens of cool-sounding Drumkit presets. The current version is v3-2022.07 with 20 Drumkit (This will be updated regularly, please sign-up for my newsletter in this AHTV blog HOMEPAGE to be notified of updates).
- Full mixer view for easy access of each sound on/off, volume, pan, and tune.
- Global Tune, Pan, Reverb and Filter (EQ).
- Parameter Automation to dynamically change sounds that fit your music (Read below on ‘How To Automate Monster Drum Parameters‘).
- Soundbank/Presets can be placed on an external hard disk, no need to place it in a startup drive (Read step #4 below on ‘Monster Drum Download Links and Installation Steps‘).

Monster Drum Download Links and Installation Steps
Monster Drum doesn’t have an installer so you have to place the files manually. Follow these steps carefully:
1. Download The Monster Drum MAIN Player
Click and download one of the FREE main player of Monster Drum according to your OS (Mac or Windows) and the plugin formats (VST or Audio Unit):
These are the alternative download links if the above failed (Google Drive):
2. Unzip and Put It In Your DAW’s Plugin Folder
Unzip the download files and put the main file (.vst3 or .component or .dll) in your DAW’s plugin folder (Googling “daw plugin location mac windows”).
3. Download The Monster Drum’s Library
Download this Library file:
This is the alternative download links if the above failed (Google Drive):
Unzip it and put it into any folder/external hard disk (But don’t change the folder structure in the original zip file).
4. Insert Monster Drum and Choose Library Location
Fire up your DAW and insert the MONSTER Drum plugin (usually under AgusHardiman.TV folder/brand).
Click “Choose folder” to change the soundbank/preset location and point it out to the folder location of Monster Drum Library:

If step #4 succeded, you are now can choose a preset and go play and record:
How To Automate Monster Drum Parameters?
In Cubase, after inserting the Monster Drum plugin, you have to open the automation lane (I’m using Monster Synth as the example):
In Studio One, go to the Piano Roll and add the parameters to automate (I’m using Monster Synth as the example):
In other DAWs, find a way/googling on how to add automation lanes/tracks.
FAQ About Monster Drum
Q : I have installed Monster Drum version 2. Should I delete that version or keep it ?
A : If you have some important project sessions with version 2, you should keep version 2. It will not clash with version 3. On my computer, I have version 2 and version 3, side-by-side. Beyond that, the sound is nearly the same with the new tune/pitch feature (this feature is not available in version 2).
Q : I want XXX and YYY features of Monster Drum, can you program it?
A : To be honest, I’m a professional musician and audio educator BUT I’m not a professional plugin programmer. I do this just for fun, so your request may not be available (but you can always try to ask me via the CONTACT page).
Q : Why there is no VST 32-bit versions anymore?
A : In the past, I made a 32-bit version of my VST. But now my programming software CAN’T output 32-bit plugin anymore, so I’m not providing 32-bit.
Q : I have a problem using this plugin on my Mac, I’m using Monterey/Big Sur/Catalina. It says that the files are damaged or can’t be opened because the developer is not trusted.
A : That problem was caused by Mac OS security which now is very strict. I have applied for a developer account in Apple to be a trusted developer but they haven’t responded to my inquiry yet.

The 340mb library link seems to be missing all the actual audio samples for this to work. Would really love to use the VST but need the sound banks!!! I choose the folder provided after unzipping, and it cannot find instruments.

in fl studio i load the plugin and i don’t find “choose folder”, i choose the plugin, i open it and it says “cannot find any instruments”. where do i have to put the “MONSTER Drum v3-2022.07 Library” folder?

You can put it everywhere even on external hard drive. Just choose the folder and you are ready to go.

Thanks for the plugin Agus, unfortunately when I try to add Monster drums to the cart it just keeps spinning and never takes me to the form page to complete the download. I’ve tried on Chrome and MS Edge. Appreciate any help you can offer.

I checked one thing that turn back to first page ( 01 A-tica hits ) when i using another kits and Press the spacebar or Start button in daw.
I don’t know if this is only my problem. i using studio one. plz check this thing i ll write ex of this problem.
1. I put in Monster drum VST3 in MIDI files in daw for use drum sounds.
2. i select a some kit (ex no 3 kit) and finished set up. and if i do press the spacebar(or start play a Track)
3. it return to first kit and my set up’s hang out.

Hi, I’m a Studio One users too and have no problem using it so far.
Regarding your problem, did you use MIDI Files from the internet? Because in those General MIDI Files, there’s a PROGRAM CHANGE message in the track that change any VST preset to the 1st preset. So you have to delete that message.
BUT, even if you make your own MIDI song, you can try this…
In Studio One, you have to go to the Piano Roll. See this image on how correct it :

Can you try some other time? Because when server is busy, it will spit that error. And today there are thousand who download so it’s a temporary problem.

You have to download the library again because it’s different programming / features (no pitch feature in v2 Libraries).

Hi, first off your plugins are amazing, but I am having trouble using them. I use your plugins along with the DAW MPC Beats. The keyboard shortcut to start the track from the beginning in MPCB is the spacebar, which is also bound to mute the Monster plugins completely. My research shows that there is no way to change any keybinds in MPCB. Is this true for your plugins as well?

I tried dropping Monster Drums into an existing rock project of mine and found a big problem with it, in that it sounds flat. Unlike, say, EzDrummer, it has no room ambience. This is okay with some genres, but when it comes to rock, it’s a bit of a fail. Even adding reverb doesn’t compensate for the lack of genuine room ambience.

Have you try the RacikSuara Metal Kit? It has ambience and it has individual ambience knob for each drum sound in the right side of the GUI, see this pic:
Some other preset have ambience too.
But you are right, my plugins is not too detailed like EZDrummer. I think because they have big budget to do it (and people pay big money to them) vs me who made this just for fun, when I have spare time after doing my client music and I give this away for free. Maybe someday, I have more time and money to make super realistic drum and still give away the plugins for free
Permisi om, saya kebetulan pengguna DAW gratisan. DAW yg saya gunakan namanya LMMS. Nah, saya berniat utk coba VST ini ke DAW tersebut. Instalasi, load library dan segala macemnya udah berhasil. Tp masalahnya pas setelah berhasil di load, tampilan interface VST ini kayak ngebug (tampilan nya kayak kepotong gitu. ga full size). Apakah ada solusinya om?

i downloaded the monster guitar and monster drums and now when i load new plugins i cant even load them and it will crash my fl studio is there anyway i can fix that?
Please remove Monster plugin from your computer until your Fl is working normal. After that, try again using my plugins.

I downloaded Monster Drums, but for some reason in Soundbridge, it chose a different “instrument” vst at the “cannot find instrument” stage, and now I can’t get it to change. I know you may not be able to help, but just in case, do you have any advice?

Usually the solution is to move the “other instrument folder library” to another place of the hardisk and fire up Monster Drum. Because the offending different instrument has been moved, Monster Drum will ask again the new location of the library. This time, choose carefully the Monster Drum library folder. Please try and report it here again later.

It *almost* works. It never asked for the new location, and instead cycled through a number of other libraries. Once I moved each of those, it chose the correct library, but as soon as I replaced the others, it went back to them. Is there a way to force it to prompt for the library folder again?
I love the sound and all, I installed it, followed the instructions, and etc. worked great with my DAW (mixcraft 9 pro studio). I had fun with it for a few hours but when it came time to actually export my project, the drums literally go silent in the mix. like seriously. when I listen to my exported audio, there’s no drums. idk
Can you try delete the Monster Drum VT from your song (without delete the MIDI Drum data) and insert it again and try export again ?

Kalau udah dan gak ada, coba download ulang dari server yang satunya. Mungkin downloadnya gak selesai atau putus.
Btw udah puluhan ribu yang download dan pakai, jadi filenya sih gak masalah.

I really wanted to use your auto drummer, but when I was installing it I accidentally selected the wrong file for the library, and now I am struggling to go back. I tried uninstalling the vst and reinstalling it, but it still didn’t bring me back to the file selector. Do you know of anything I could do to fix this?

All you have to do is move the wrong library to another place in your hardisk. And after that, load the Monster Drum. Because you have moved the wrong library, Monster Drum now will ask the new location of the library. Now, choose the right Monster Drum library.

just one problem when i press the keys on my keyboard there is no sound in my headphones and i can’t figure out why, it works with other plugins like labs.
Hi, make sure you press the right notes, for ex. C1 for Kick ior D1 for Snare. Or you might have to transpose the key on your MIDI Controller ? I don’t know since I (and many others) have no problem triggering it using MIDI Controller

Been having a lot of problems with this lately, It used to only hiss intermittently but now it does it every time I load the VST. I recently switched to L15 Thinkpad with an Intelcore processor, 16 gigs ram, running WIndows 11. My current DAW is Cakewalk by Bandlab. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue or has reported it and I am not really sure how to go about this. I really enjoy your plugins and use them quite often, the Toothbrush Kit and Cajon being quite useful to me. Here’s hoping for and update to solve this issue so that I can use V3 and not go back to V2 which, thankfully, I have kept. Cheers. PS, How can share a few tracks that have utilized your plugins?
Hi Mark, please tell me what format did you use, VST2 or VST3? If you use VST2, try to use the VST3 or vice versa.
Btw this is the 1st report I got and if you search ‘monster drum’ on YouTube, there are so many videos without problems (I don’t have a problem too in my Windows 11) but I don’t use Cakewalk.
I can try to export the plugin again if you want but I’m going to update Monster Drum in October so please wait.
